Barry Manville is 58 years old and has spent the last twenty years
working in Video Production. Initially with a company called INfocus
Video Productions in which he was a Director of the company. During
this time Barry spent twelve months working on the Community Channel
producing three programmes a week, so is very used to working within
tight schedules.B4 Productions followed with the aim of working with
diverse groups in the Community to enable them to make best use of the
Digital Media, which was by now becoming available to everyone who
owned a computer and a camcorder.
We have an extensive range of equipment including various Editing
packages which include Adobe Premiere Pro,After Effects, Serious Magic
for green/blue screening effects, Photoshop (for image
manipulation) and of course Flash. |

David Rankin is 60 years of age
and has been in the Media
Industry for most of his working life. In the sixties, he worked for
Dick James
Music and Beacon Radio 303, in the seventies as an actor in various
films and
TV roles for ICE Productions BBC London Weekend and Central TV amongst
others. In the
eighties he became a
full time jobbing actor and worked for Granada, in plays by Alan
Bleasdale and
Jack Rosenthal as well as continuing to work for various TV companies
appearing
in such diverse productions as Miss Marple to Soldier Soldier. In the nineties he became
interested in the
production side of the industry and began his own production company
building
up a portfolio of projects that included the Learning and Skills
Council,
completing some ninety shorts with young people to producing
commercials for
Blackpool Education and Bolton Business support unit.
David also works as an independent cameraman, for
mini budget
filmmakers and TV companies alike and has finished some of his own
shorts including
‘Gone Bad’ & ‘Day of
Reckoning’. He
has built up an extensive list of equipment including HDV and DV
cameras, Steady
cam kit, portable autocue system, Grip, Dollies and full PC based edit
facilities.
